What are the differences between traditional and digital marketing?

Traditional marketing encounters its audience through traditional print media (magazines and newspapers), roadside billboards, posters, hoardings, announcements, etc. while digital marketing encounters its audience through digital media, online advertising, search engines, social media, video streaming services, websites and from all you see online.

You may clear all your doubts through the given image.

Did you see billboards or hoardings? Of course, yes! how many of you remember them? Hardly 1–5%. And now if I ask how many of you remember Pepsi Ad watched on YouTube/TV. Now the no. is above 50–60%.

It shows that traditional marketing offers a lower level of interaction and engagement.
